You can use your own servers or, Pragmatix will provide

monitored and serviced 24 hours a day, 7 days a week
in a highly secured environment. |

| Continual 24/7 monitoring of your website ensures
your site is always up and running. If the server
fails to respond within the specified threshold time
limit, a notification email is sent to the Pragmatix
system administrator (and optionally to your designated
contact). |

Servers are protected from unauthorized external
access by a dual, redundant cluster of Nokia Security
Appliances running industry-leading Check Point Technologies
firewall software. In addition, intrusion detection
software is run behind the firewall to provide immediate
alerts for any unusual or suspected hacking activities.

| Uninterrupted Power Supply (UPS) service is provided
for each server. This automatically provides power
to the server(s) in the event of a power failure.
Onsite diesel generators used for extended power outages
further back up the UPS. All power to the servers
is conditioned to prevent power spikes, etc. |

| Access to the network facility and computer rooms
is tightly controlled through electronic badge keys,
reception area, alarmed doors and closed-circuit monitors.
Access by non-authorized personnel and vendors is
by escort only. All consoles are password controlled.
Servers are physically locked in a cabinet accessible
only by authorized Pragmatix staff and IBM support
personnel. The IBM Data center is equipped with a Halon fire
suppression system, dew point temperature monitoring
and advanced smoke detection systems. Servers are
protected from power surges and outages through robust
power conditioning, UPS battery backup and backup
diesel generators for extended power outages. |

The facility’s overall bandwidth is greater
than OC48 with connectivity from vendors such as AT&T,
Qwest, MCI and others. We currently have partnerships
with both IBM and AT&T for additional connectivity.
Bandwidth is guaranteed to 10 Mbps and higher. Bandwidth
provided is based on customer needs with a minimum
guaranteed Committed Information Rate (CIR). If more
bandwidth is required during peak times, bursting
is allowed without having to request additional bandwidth.
The connection is measured based on the lower 90th
percentile. If the transfer rate is bursting above
the CIR on a regular basis, the customer will be billed
accordingly and given the opportunity to request a
higher CIR. |
