Bill Abram Founder and
President
A thought leader in information technology (IT) for
more than 30 years, Bill Abram has been the driving force behind Pragmatix’s
broad range of high-quality technology solutions for Fortune 500 companies and
smaller businesses. Pragmatix was founded in 1992 to enable businesses to
deploy technology that better supports business processes, and Bill works
closely with clients to assess their needs and to provide meaningful solutions
that improve overall business performance. Bill ensures all Pragmatix services
are delivered in a manner that upholds Pragmatix’s outstanding reputation for quality, reliability and accountability.
Before founding Pragmatix, Bill co-founded Abram & Yagoda Systems Group to build LAN-based multi-user PC applications. A
graduate of Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute with a BS in management
engineering, Bill also holds an MBA in finance from Pace University. Bill is a
passionate volunteer in a number of community organizations and has served as
president of the United Way’s Volunteer Center, a clearinghouse for volunteers
that recruits and refers over 10,000 volunteers a year to over 450 nonprofits.
In addition, Bill is often cited by, and is a contributor to, publications covering
important technology issues facing today’s businesses.
Barbara
Abram Vice
President

Responsible for the day-to-day business operations of
Pragmatix, Barbara Abram plays a key role in strategic planning, marketing,
finance, and operations. Barbara also heads the company’s marketing and public
relations efforts, manages human resources, and handles all aspects of
accounting and finance. Barbara works with the entire Pragmatix team to
effectively communicate and promote client-focused products and services. A former school board trustee of the Ardsley Union Free School District, Barbara received her BFA from Parsons School of Design. Barbara is extremely active in her community; she is a volunteer for the Books for Boys
program at The Children’s Village in Dobbs Ferry, and she also volunteers time to
Food Bank for Westchester.
