Insurance Industry custom Solutions
With strict regulations and constantly
changing requirements, the insurance industry needs more than off-the-shelf
software can provide. That’s why insurance companies and regulators call on
Pragmatix for customized WCIO solutions.
Pragmatix has more than 15 years of
experience working with the insurance industry, most recently in the area of
Workers Compensation Compliance Reporting.
What else has Pragmatix custom-developed
for insurance companies?
- CDX (Compensation Data Exchange): This web-based
solution can receive, validate, and distribute reporting files in multiple
formats based on a receiver's stored preferences. CDX enables carriers to send
files 24/7/365 in order to meet their reporting requirements.
- BEEP (Bureau Entry and Edit Package): BEEP is
designed for the effective manual entry or import, and electronic submission
of, Unit Statistical Reports (USRs). Uploaded via the web or email, USRs are
searched, validated, and exported to a submission file. The files can then be
directly routed through CDX to the recipient bureaus.
- PEEP (Policy Entry and Edit Package): PEEP
allows manual entry or import and electronic submission of policy information.
Users can create new policy transactions online and validate their entries, or
they can upload a file of transactions and run the validations on the whole
batch. Transactions are stored for the user, who can then search and collect
the records into a submission file that can be sent directly through CDX to the
recipient bureaus.
- EXR (Experience Rating Worksheet): The EXR
application provides insurance carriers with access to their Rating Worksheets.
Users have flexible options for searching worksheets. Once found, the
worksheets can be viewed, printed, or exported to PDF.
- FDRA (Financial Data Reporting Application): This lets carriers enter, edit, and submit aggregate financial reports
through a web application that includes a rich spreadsheet interface for
editing the calls in a browser. FDRA increases the timeliness and quality of
data by eliminating paper submissions and providing carriers with immediate
feedback. After uploading calls and editing the data, users can run validations
and view or fix any validation errors in real time. FDRA also maintains a
record of announcements, call assignments, responses, and criticisms entered
and sent from the system.
