When Minneapolis resident Randy Zats was seeking a renter for his Florida vacation home in April 2008, he was having trouble identifying viable leads. He felt that if he was having trouble finding someone to rent his home, others may have encountered the same issue.

That’s when he decided to develop an informal online network of second home owners who could share resources and rent out their vacation homes to earn some extra income.

In January 2009, the first dry run of www.incirclerentals.com was complete, and today, there are about 30 people in the network -with circles in North America, Europe and the Caribbean - with the same goal: earning extra income by renting out their vacation homes."
