Collecting, organizing, and distributing time-sensitive data between hundreds of insurance
carriers and thousands of brokers and agents was an expensive, time consuming and labor-intensive
process for both the insurance carriers as well as NJCRIB, the state bureau responsible for the
timeliness and accuracy of collecting, processing and distributing the data. Because the organization
plays such a critical role in the production process, NJCRIB turned to Pragmatix to build a data
interface that delivers exceptional power and performance to foster productivity across multiple
stakeholders. To speed up the process and refine the work flow, Pragmatix created an application
that allows authorized users to transmit data files to a secure, central repository where they are
pre-processed before transmission into the NJCRIB's legacy systems. Additionally, authorized users
can generate online requests to view or download the processed data without submitting a written request.
Insurance carriers submit data via FTP, email or a secure web upload to the web application for validation
and processing. After processing by their legacy systems, NJCRIB transmits data back to the web application via
FTP for further processing and report generation. After the data is collected and processed, users can search
and view a number of different report types. Pragmatix's solution not only saved the bureau, time and money
but significantly enhanced the entire production process.
