KPMG needed a secure hosting environment with SAS70 and Safe Harbor Certification for one of their
proprietary software applications, KPMG/LINK EnterpriseSM. The application is a web-enabled, multi-tiered
software application that enables large multi-national organizations to efficiently manage and administer
various aspects of their international assignee programs. This product is a comprehensive software application
that runs in a client/server environment on local area networks. The added functionalities and the ability to
access timely information from anywhere in the world make this software a perfect choice for companies that
run their global assignment program from one or more locations. Working with KPMG executives and engineers, Pragmatix
provided a hosting solution that ensured a high level of security and worked with IBM to create an environment
that met KPMG specific security needs. Pragmatix’s solution included fully managed private networks, continuous
IBM online backup services and advanced monitoring for servers hosted at an IBM data center. The installation took
3 weeks from sign-off. KPMG relies on Pragmatix to manage its application and power its growth.
